Constipation

Para pais, prestadores de cuidados, prestadores de cuidados de saúde e professores, surgem frequentemente preocupações e questões relativas aos cuidados e bem-estar dos indivíduos com Cornelia de Lange syndrome. 

Constipation is common in CdLS and occurs in almost half of all individuals with the syndrome. 

Treatment for constipation in CdLS is the same as for the general population. Diarrhoea, gassiness and lactose intolerance are also fairly common in CdLS.
