RTS’ers blijven in meer of mindere mate afhankelijk van externe zorg, maar er komt een dag dat ze volwassen zijn, kunnen gaan werken en buitenshuis kunnen gaan wonen.

Kenmerken in de volwassenheid

  • Uiteenlopende behoefte aan zorg en begeleiding
  • Dagbesteding op een dagverblijf of werkzaam op een sociale werkplaats
  • Wonend in een instelling voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking of een voorziening voor begeleid zelfstandig wonen
