Constipation


For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Cornelia de Lange syndrome. 

Constipation is common in CdLS and occurs in almost half of all individuals with the syndrome. 

Treatment for constipation in CdLS is the same as for the general population. Diarrhoea, gassiness and lactose intolerance are also fairly common in CdLS.
